What that means as a sauna experience is that you have more even temperatures throughout the cabin, and also the air is more oxygen-rich at the top of the sauna, so you can breathe easier. The flue fan can be completely turned off if desired, allowing you to enjoy a more traditional sauna experience. This gives you greater flexibility to tailor the atmosphere to your personal preference.
What are the differences between the Saunum models?
Saunum currently only offers the Air models, which is divided into two different lineups:
- Air Series: Made for rooms from 106 to 247 cubic feet, comes in 5kW and 7kW options. These heaters fit 5 boxes of stones and have a smaller footprint than the big brother of the Air.
- Air L Series: These heaters are made for spaces ranging from 247 to 741 cubic feet, making it the big brother to the Air. There are three different kW heaters in this lineup: 10kW, 12kW, and 15kW. The Air L fits one more box of stones than its smaller sibling, totaling 6 boxes.
All Saunum sauna heaters require a 240V/1PH electrical connection.
How are they controlled?
Saunum heaters work on the same AirIQ WiFi Sauna controller. The controller is WiFi-enabled, so you can control it with your phone when not at home and schedule it to be ready when you get home. The control panel itself can also be used to adjust the temperature and fan speed, for example.
