INFRARED PANELS

The Spectrum Plus™ are UL Listed short-wave infrared panels combined with Spectrum Carbon long-wave infrared heaters. This dual setup ensures full-spectrum infrared therapy, offering both deep tissue penetration from the short-wave panels and broader, even heat distribution from the long-wave heaters.

The infrared panels are designed to provide 360° heating, maximizing the efficiency of heat exposure and allowing the sauna to reach top temperatures quickly and effectively for an immersive sauna experience.

CONTROLLER

This cabin features a built-in LCD touchscreen and Bluetooth audio.

The audio system has 6” HiFi speakers to ensure good quality audio when you are enjoying the heat of the infrared sauna.

The LCD touchscreen can be also used to control the interior lighting.

LIGHTING

The cabin is equipped with an integrated lighting system that can be easily adjusted using the controller. This allows users to customise the lighting to suit their preferences or create a specific atmosphere inside the cabin.

A wide range of different colours is available, with the option to select bright, subtle, or ambient lighting depending on needs or the mood.

VENTILATION

The cabin is fitted with an internal ventilation vent designed to improve airflow and maintain a comfortable environment inside the cabin.

This vent is located on the ceiling and can be opened at any time to allow fresh air to circulate within the space, helping to regulate temperature and air quality.

If additional cooling or airflow is required, the cabin door can be easily opened to allow more fresh air to enter, providing extra ventilation when needed.

Finnmark FD-2 Construction

The 2-person infrared sauna from Finnmark Designs uses high-quality materials for both aesthetic appeal and durability. The interior is constructed with Western Canadian Red Cedar, valued for its antimicrobial properties, aromatic quality, and natural resistance to decay. The cedar is clear meaning it is knotless.

The exterior is made from Thermal Plus™ Aspen, which is known for its stability and resistance to warping, rot, and decay, making it ideal for long-term use in saunas. Thermal Plus means the Aspen has gone through a thermal modification process that makes it withstand high temperatures. These materials create a natural and luxurious environment, enhancing the sauna's overall longevity and performance.

I got the FD-2 about last month. No concerns or issues with my sauna. Likes: heats up fast, lots of mid and far IR due to having both Carbon and ceramic heaters, 360 heater placement - no cold spots, uses SmartLife app for wifi connection, blue tooth for audio and speakers are actually very good, well constructed with lots of certifications and went together w/o issues, I verified that all the wiring is wrapped for low emf/rf - as advertised,there’s an auxiliary outlet that I used to add a RedLight panel which made it very easy to do.

Advice:Red light, like most saunas it is located in the ceiling. Just don’t expect the amount of near IR to be much, which is why I added a panel.

Would have liked the 3 person version, but it didn’t fit in the space I wanted to use. Like all the saunas the two person version is tight if you really want to have two people in it.
No regrets and enjoy it.
